The story of Tenuta Fiumara began in 1812, when the estate was established to supply and support the garrison of the nearby Forte delle Marze. Thanks to its strategic location between the sea and the fertile lands of Maremma, the estate soon grew into a thriving agricultural property.

Over the years, olive groves and vineyards flourished across the estate, becoming an integral part of its identity. Fragolino vines were among its most distinctive cultivations, while in 1908 the first mulberry trees were planted to support silk production, enriching the estate’s agricultural heritage.

As the twentieth century unfolded, Tenuta Fiumara gradually faded into obscurity and much of its history was left behind. In 1993, the Angelucci family rediscovered the estate and transformed it into their private family retreat, preserving its beauty and unique character.

More than thirty years later, in 2023, Leonardo Angelucci embarked on a new chapter for Tenuta Fiumara. Inspired by its rich past and extraordinary setting, he began a careful restoration that brought the estate back to life as a boutique agriresort. Today, Tenuta Fiumara stands as a place where history, nature, and hospitality come together, honoring over two centuries of heritage while looking toward the future.
